Champagne drinkers rejoice, this is an excellent crisp and dry alternative that won’t break the bank! Called “Wild Brut” because of the wines pure and unaltered result post fermentation without the addition of “dosage” or sugar that is traditionally added to sparkling wines.

Where: Alsace, France
What: 50% Pinot Blanc, 50% Pinot Auxerrois
How: Traditional method, aged for 24 months sur lie, sans dosage (no sugar added).
Nose: Fine nose of pastry and floral notes.
Flavor: Lively effervescence, balanced acidity, with a citron and slightly saline finish.
Food Pairing: A refined aperitif, or a wine that will pair well with most foods. As the fresh salinity and balance of acidity makes a nice companion to many dishes.
