ABOUT THIS SPARKLING WINE:
Dopff Au Moulin, Cuvée Julien Brut is made exclusively from grapes grown around the picture perfect village of Riquewihr and the heart of Colmar. The DOPFF family has been producing still wine there since 1574 establishing Dopff Au Moulin as one of the world's oldest family-owned wineries.

What: 50% Pinot Blanc, 50% Pinot Auxerrois
How: Hand harvested grapes from old vines grown near Riquewihr and Colmar, traditional method, aged 24 months sur lei.
Nose: Fruity with elements of citrus and white flowers.
Flavor: Pinot Auxerrois lends itself to a creamy palate, followed by the crisp pear, fresh melon and balanced minerality of the Pinot Blanc. Mildly floral.
Food Pairing: As an aperitif or Kir Royal, with charcuterie. Typical of brut sparkling it’s acidity plays well with most foods.
